About

Standards over guesswork.

Status Check exists to give Maryland shooters a clearer path: safer handling, better practice, and standards that make improvement measurable.

What this is built around

Many shooters are told to practice more, but not always what to practice, how to measure it, or when they are ready for the next step. Status Check is built around practical standards, useful reps, and honest feedback.

The goal is not to turn every student into a competitor. The goal is to meet students where they are, help them see the next useful step, and build safer, cleaner, more capable gun handling over time.

Status Check was built from public-service experience, practical shooting standards, experience as a USPSA Grandmaster competitor, and the belief that every student deserves respectful instruction and a clear path forward.
